I want to take a moment to thank the committee chairs for all the time, energy, and knowledge they put into running our committees. These are your peers, operators, business owners, and industry professionals, who give up hours of their week because they believe in the importance of this organization and what it can do for all of us. That level of dedication should be met with the same level of enthusiasm from the broader membership.

We offer committee meetings that are more than just another thing on your calendar. They are some of the most valuable resources your TTA membership gives you access to. Where else can you get together with other transportation leaders who are dealing with the same problems you face every day? Where else can you find out for yourself what works and what doesn't in our industry and where it's heading to? That is what these committees provide, and it is very special.

The Safety & Loss Committee offers resources for operational security and risk mitigation. Members receive training in organized accident investigation methods, such as gathering evidence, preserving records, and upholding a clear chain of custody. Sessions also include streamlined procedures and pricing methods to reduce claim expenses and lawsuit exposure, as well as automated reporting workflows to minimize claim costs and litigation exposure.

TTA's voice in the regulatory sphere and strategic policy engine is the Government Relations Committee. Members monitor local, state, and federal legislation and contribute to the formation of the association's advocacy stances on matters that impact your business, such as independent contractor status, the expansion of non-emergency medical transportation, the function of private sector microtransit, and adherence to ADA regulations. Additionally, the committee concentrates on policies that advance the safety of drivers and passengers, providing members with an organized means of ensuring that their practical concerns are taken into consideration by legislators prior to the finalization of regulations.

The Operations Committee looks into the day-to-day operations of a modern transportation company. In addition to dashboard tools that transform booking data into graphs, heat maps, and trip length views that teams can act upon, members share KPI designs covering brand, sales, service, rides, driver recruitment, fleet, and safety. Additionally, the committee looked at driver mentorship programs that increase revenue and retention as well as communication tools that have reduced the number of no-shows from high double digits to low single digits, providing you with ideas you can use with your own teams.

The AV/AI Committee brings together leading experts in autonomous vehicles and artificial intelligence to help members prepare for rapid change. Sessions feature executives with hands-on experience in autonomous driving, EV fleets and mobility services explaining how transportation companies can position themselves in the AV era instead of being surprised by it. On the AI side, members hear from practitioners who build AI agents and analytics tools for real businesses, with practical guidance on prompt design, workflow automation and data use so that AI makes processes faster, more accurate and more profitable instead of becoming a buzzword.

The Solutions Provider Committee connects operators directly with the technologies and vendors that keep their businesses moving. Meetings introduce new user groups for key platforms like Mobilize, share strategies to grow TTA membership and unveil a vendor pledge that focuses on better visibility and more transparent communication between solution providers and operators. Members hear how peers are using specific tools, what actually solves day to day problems and which partnerships are delivering measurable results in the field.

Many members are missing out on valuable meetings that could help them manage business demands. Consistent attendees gain new ideas, connections, and confidence. Upcoming months promise new topics and discussions relevant to members. Participation maximizes the value of TTA membership, with committees offering significant returns on investment.

Thank you for being part of this organization. Let's keep showing up for each other.

With appreciation,

Bill Rouse, TTA President
