Professional:
How long have you been a member of TTA? I officially became a member in 2024, but I began attending and engaging with TTA in 2023.
Why did you join TTA? I joined TTA to expand my knowledge of the transportation industry as a whole—not just non-emergency medical transportation, but all sectors within ground transportation.
What’s your favorite part of being a member of TTA? My favorite part is connecting with other professionals in the industry who are open to collaboration and mentorship. It’s inspiring to be part of a community that is committed to growing and shaping the future of transportation together.
What committee do you currently serve on? I am currently exploring committee opportunities where I can both contribute my experience and continue to grow my knowledge.
What city are you located in and what is the size of your fleet? I am based in the Cleburne/Waco, Texas area, and we operate a fleet of 32 vehicles, serving all of North and Central Texas.
What type of service does your company provide? We specialize in non-emergency medical transportation.
What do you love most about the transportation industry? What I value most is the opportunity to serve those who have served us. We play an important role in ensuring our senior population can maintain their independence, dignity, and safety in their daily lives.
How do you define success? Success, to me, is creating an environment where people feel a true sense of belonging and purpose—both for themselves and for their families.
Who inspires you? My grandparents inspire me deeply. As entrepreneurs, they built their own businesses and instilled that same spirit in me by allowing me to learn alongside them.
If you could choose anyone as a mentor, who would you choose and why? I would choose Patrick Bet-David and Donald Miller. Both have powerful stories of starting from humble beginnings and building successful businesses while maintaining strong personal and professional foundations.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to enter the transportation industry? Do your research. Understand the services, identify the needs in your area, and be prepared with the right resources to meet those demands effectively.
What’s one thing—either industry-related or not—you learned in the last month? I’ve learned that the integration of social media and AI isn’t something to fear—it’s an opportunity. It’s not the end of careers, but the beginning of a new way to grow and innovate.
